Inconel 600: Offers excellent high-temperature corrosion and oxidation resistance, excellent hot and cold working and weldability, and possesses satisfactory hot strength and high ductility below 700°C.
Inconel 625: Offers excellent resistance to pitting, crevice, intergranular, and erosion corrosion in chloride media; is acid-resistant and exhibits excellent weldability. The low-cycle fatigue version of Inconel 625 is often used for bellows.
Inconel 690: Its low cobalt content makes it suitable for nuclear energy applications, and its low resistivity is also low. For example, 690 is used in the heat transfer tubes of steam generators in pressurized water reactors.
Inconel 713C: A precipitation-hardening nickel-chromium-based casting alloy. Inconel 718: Contains a γ' phase reinforcement, offering excellent weldability.
Inconel 751: A high aluminum content provides excellent rupture strength in the high-temperature range around 870°C.
Inconel 792: A high aluminum content provides enhanced corrosion resistance at high temperatures, making it suitable for gas turbines.
Inconel 939: γ' phase reinforcement improves weldability.
Incoloy 020: Provides excellent corrosion resistance in chemical environments containing sulfuric acid, chlorides, phosphoric acid, and nitric acid.
Incoloy 028: Resistant to both acids and salts, its copper content makes it resistant to sulfuric acid.
Incoloy 330: Provides good strength at high temperatures and resistance to both oxidizing and reducing environments.
Incoloy 800: Offers excellent resistance to stress corrosion cracking in chlorides, low-concentration aqueous NaOH solutions, and high-temperature, high-pressure water. It remains stable and maintains its austenitic structure even after prolonged exposure to high temperatures.
Incoloy 803: Designed for sulfur-rich environments.
Incoloy 825: Offers excellent corrosion resistance in reducing and oxidizing acids, stress corrosion cracking, pitting, and crevice corrosion. Excellent corrosion resistance to sulfuric and phosphoric acids. Good hot and cold workability, making it easy to cold form and weld.
Incoloy 908: Offers high tensile strength, fatigue crack growth resistance, good weldability, metallurgical stability and ductility, high fracture and impact toughness, a low coefficient of thermal expansion, resistance to oxygen embrittlement, and resistance to cracking during hot working.
Incoloy 907: Offers high strength and a low coefficient of thermal expansion at high temperatures.
Incoloy 945X: Designed for chloride-rich environments, molybdenum increases its resistance to crevice and pitting corrosion.
Incoloy MA956: Produced through mechanical alloying rather than a bulk melt process, it is difficult to weld and requires heating to 200°C for forming.
Monel Monel 400: Offers high strength and excellent corrosion resistance in acidic and alkaline environments, particularly suitable for reducing conditions. It also has good ductility and thermal conductivity. It is commonly used in marine engineering, chemical and hydrocarbon processing, heat exchangers, valves, and pumps.
Monel 401: Offers ease of tungsten inert gas welding, resistance welding, and brazing. It is used in specialized electrical and electronic applications.
Monel 404: Can be welded and forged using common welding techniques but cannot be hot worked. It has low temperatures, low permeability, and good brazing properties. It is commonly used in transistors and metal seals.
Monel 405: Free-machining, primarily used as feedstock for automatic screw machines, but is generally not recommended for other applications.
Monel 450: Offers good fatigue strength and high thermal conductivity. It is commonly used in condenser, distiller, evaporator, and heat exchanger tubes, as well as brine piping.
Monel K-500: Has similar performance to Monel 400 and is commonly used in pump shafts, impellers, scrapers, oil well drill collars, instrumentation, and electronic components.
Monel 502: Offers excellent creep and oxidation resistance and can be processed like austenitic stainless steel.
Hastelloy B-2: Offers excellent corrosion resistance in reducing environments.
Hastelloy B-3: An upgraded version of B2, offering excellent corrosion resistance to hydrochloric acid at all temperatures and concentrations.
Hastelloy C-4: Offers excellent thermal stability and toughness and corrosion resistance from 650°C to 1040°C.
Hastelloy C-22: Offers better uniform corrosion resistance in oxidizing media than C-4 and C-276, with excellent resistance to localized corrosion.
Hastelloy C-276: Offers good resistance to oxidizing and moderate reducing corrosion, with excellent resistance to stress corrosion.
Hastelloy C-2000: The most comprehensive corrosion-resistant alloy, offering excellent uniform corrosion resistance in both oxidizing and reducing environments.
Hastelloy G-30: A high-chromium nickel-based alloy with excellent performance in phosphoric acid and other strongly oxidizing mixed acid media.
Hastelloy X: Comprehensive high strength, anti-oxidation and easy processing.
